Bat Condo

Love | Schack Architect worked with a group of experts, including Bat Conservation International, to modify a bat condo design to be more climate and site specific. The condo can house up to 1000+ migrating bats. This project works toward conservation of an often over-looked but very important part of a healthy ecosystem - earth's bats!

Fact : Bats are primary predators of night-flying insects as well as pollinators. Throughout the United States, scientists estimate, bats are worth more than $3.7 billion a year in reduced crop damage and pesticide use.*
